I label this genre
“Geometric Romanticism”,
fusing together the normally separate worlds
of Geometry and Romanticism, melding the familiar with the abstract,
the mathematical with the fanciful, the measurable with the elusive.
My subjects are surrounded
and enveloped
by ever-present challenges,
hope, dreams, faith, sensuality
and mystery
symbolized by the embracing backdrop of abstract geometrical shapes.
I would like the complex imagery
in my art
to act as a maze that entices
the viewer to navigate,
explore and discover their own personal truth
through their viewing journey.
